PAT 01
Anyone got any ideas as to what that is?
Looking at the background I'm guessing it's not a numberplate but is a trailer identifier? (P... A... Transport or P.... A ... Trailer)
Postman pat's van, is it not?

Something fishy going on with that Scenic's exhaust there. Megane Renaultsport engine swap possibly? smile
That's a Megane GT, like an RS-Lite (diesel) 2.0 150bhp, Leather, nice bits inside etc. Was cheaper than an RS175dci but had deeper bumpers etc.

Indeed, and that is a new one for me - good spot! There are plenty of 'wrong' combinations that have been issued to embassies. They also include plates that were previously issued - such as NL 1, issued in 1921 but subsequently re-issued to the Netherlands. For anyone as sadly interested as me, there is a full list here:- http://nice-reg.co.uk/number-plates/number-plates/...

I never realised Quebec has its own embassy. I thought it was still part of Canada, despite it wanting to be independent.

I saw 1 SLR the other day but was driving so didn't get a pic. Bet you can't guess what it was on . . .
Also saw 888 GOB on a Mini and 2911 IL on a florist's van (Ian Lloyd) which I liked.

It seems that they are not exactly embassies but each province of both Canada and Australia have their own 'consulate' type offices in London in addition to the main embassy. Not all of them seem to have their own plates (though Queensland does have QLD 1!)

Not real good I guess, but decent enough considering it was on a recent shape Ford Focus ST3 - ST13 FMC.
