Lovely, and wonderful with the old family photo. Issued in December 1903 by Warwickshire.
Interesting, I'm trying to work out when great grandad was given it, his initials were AC and I think it was his 30 years anniversary for the Express. He started in 1926, so that photo is 1956ish. Been a busy weekend spotting number plates.... Saw my first single single for a while.

Y9 on a newish red small volvo at J9 M40 / A34 junction
Also V6 CRD, which would look great on a Chrysler 300c CRD, however was on a Jag
Sun
---
6WRC on the M1 near Northampton on a Lancia (possibly delta?) all stickered up like the original WRC cars. Also, B10 MAS on a Jaguar XF on the M27 near Southampton Read it as bio mass. Looked very good
Today
WFN 1 on an old gold vectra estate near Banbury. Definitely a 'worth more than the car' plate.
Unfortunately no pics of any of them. Too busy driving. Need to get a new dash cam so I can actually look back at them

Someone round here as a Mini with a registration that reads as BORG (can't recall the exact make up).
Hope that at some point I can have a chat with the owner, that is a pretty geeky reg.
If it's on a grey, 2008 Mini Cooper Clubman, then that "B" ain't a "B". It's an "8". As in 80 RG. The poor sap has probably wandered quite innocently into the Essex Badlands, and been assimilated into the 'Orange' collective... Hope that at some point I can have a chat with the owner, that is a pretty geeky reg.
...
If it's been illegally spaced it's a shame, because correctly displayed it's a pretty classy double/double. If it's displayed correctly I shall get back in my garbage can and STHU.

Also on display, on the new Lagonda, was LA60 NDA.
I wondered if they'd get that one. I tried to buy that first thing in the morning when '60' plates were released, with the intention of reselling it either to AML or to someone who had an old Lagonda and wanted a plate for their modern car to go with it. "Reserved for future auction" came up.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
