Hi all,

I need to buy some dollars and the high street rates aren't too good. Most were 1.52.

I have just found this site offering 1.55 with a next day special delivery for £6. All I am worried about is it being a dodgy site. Has anyone heard of or used this place?

No idea regarding that site, but if you are concerned, for the sake of the £25, is it worth your risk and worry?

Not sure about dollars but I recently found that by far the cheapest for me at the time was Travelexes deliver to door service. SUprisingly good value as I am used to seeing those at the airport charging ridiculous rates.

Travelex pre-order and collect at airport / ferryport also gives a very good rate, better than I have found elsewhere.

Much much better than the people next in the queue from me paying the standard rate which is very poor.

Have a look on moneysavingexpert.com who list the exchange companies and what you get for your money, usually free delivery at that level.

Thanks, just had a look on there and the site I found is actually listed on there too.

I can't imagine MoneySavingExpert would be recommending dodgy places smile

Thank you!

I've used TravelPremier myself with no issues at all. Provided you pay by internet transfer, the money is going to be safe as you know where it's going. I would generally use any of them and usually go for the best rate taking into account the delivery or lack of delivery cost.
