Been told they are aero grade rose joints from Germany . You could make your own up but you don`t know what you are buying .They are two rose joints with a all thread nut in between .

If you want the best, Leven Technology. But you won't have much change from £200. The front ones matter most, the rear ARB is too short to be a huge amount of use.

Or you could fit standard ones and use the left over to upgrade something else. Depends what you use your car for. If you do track days, maybe Levens are justified, if you just use it for touring with the occassional blast and don't like to corner on the limit just in case the road surface changes or you have to brake (like me), maybe not.

I guess Levens may last longer, so may be more economical in the long run ?

Have a look at the Racing Green/Clevor Trevor drop links, they claim that they are uprated and they are cheaper than the Leven or OE parts.
sounds like best of both worlds.
If any one has any experience of these I would be interested to know your thoughts, as these are on my list of winter jobs.

+1 I'd be interested to hear from someone who runs them. They had a bit in Sprint on them a few months back if I remember too.

I`m glad people are thinking out the box ,Looks like you can add the Honda drop links in the alternative parts list ..

How much were they ?

There are thousands of different drop links on fleabay , seen some adjustable quality VW drop links for the front .

Just measure the centres do they have a funny angle ? if so you need one with a lock nut to get the right

angle.

As long as they the right length with a lock nut then the angles shouldn't be a problem,

How long is the life of the standard drop links? Mine are the originals so are 80k miles and 16 years old.

Will the benefits be noticeable? I.m getting new springs/dampers fitted next week so am strongly considering getting new drop links at the same time.
