2-0 up and I thought it was all over. Fair play to Norwich as they fought hard and made us really hang on in the second half. 3 games to go and we have the Champions League place and above United. Really missed Henderson I think.
Psssst.Everyone is above Utd,even Spurs. wink

Two motm performances from Raheem in two of the biggest games we've played in recent times. I have to eat humble pie as I watched him come through the ranks and didn't think he'd kick on. Just incredible.

Will be proud to see him line up for England in the summer, and that's coming from a Welshman. Shame Hodgson will fk it all up.

Johnson needs a proper talking to. Jesus, he was awful. A lot of the lads looked tired after the hour.

Skrtel needs to teach Mignolet how to punch a ball.

Just watching the highlights now. That lad Stirling hit an absolute bomb, what a goal.

Excellent insight into B-Rod's tactical genius.

I read that as, "Johnson needs to talk to Jesus, he was awful." hehe
He was though, players getting round him far too easily and some silly moments of indecision throughout.
Sakho definitely didn't look comfortable playing the ball out from the back either.

Thought he had a decent 1st half but lacks the pressing and energy of Henderson. Given the choice I don't think Allen would get in ahead of a young man who has transformed his career since last January. The stats for me are just over simplified. Fits the current preferred formation better than Lucas though.

Its Sakho and Mignolet I worry about more. If we're going to be passing it out of the back with any real conviction then Agger has to start and Mignolet kept on the training pitch longer.

Anyway well earned rest and a full week to prepare. If results go our way we could be playing to win the title at the weekend.

Agreed. If Sturridge is fit Lucas is dropped for Chelsea (doesn't look 100% to me).

The uncomfortableness in defence is just inherent to Brendon's system of play. To be fair to Sakho, Flanno gave him some dodgy balls today but our outlet ball always seemed to be on that side because GJ & Lucas weren't contributing.

Mignolet certainly has a touch of the David James about him now and again, its like going back to the mid 90's, each corner ages me about 2 years!

Proud to be a Liverpool fan today that's for sure. Written off at the start of the season we've showed true grit at times to keep in there and we've finally got our CL place back. We're now in the bonus round and need to make it count.

Some great nights ahead until we get Chelsea in the semis - I bet Chelsea are bricking it at the thought of LFC in the CL again

Just noticed the Spanish league table - would be great to see Atletico win the league as well.

Wouldn't it. Despite Chelsea being English I will never, ever want them to win anything. Massively rooting for Athletico in the semi.....
