After I've joined the Northants Hoon next weekend I will be taking leave of my Vantage.

I have decided to sell up in order to put money towards purchasing a new house for the Mrs and I.

I certainly plan to be returning to the fold most likely in the new year, and very likely with a newer model (preferably a DBS or V12V...)

Without a doubt I will still be lurking around on here and seeing what's what! So please keep up the good banter!

For those who I haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting but have spoken to here or via e-mail, it has a been a pleasure! and for those who I have met and will probably see again next Sunday....see you next Sunday!

I had to cash in my car to release some money when we converted the barn we live in and buy a more sensible one. It is hard at the time but you soon bounce back and when you do it is that much sweeter.

WBAC offered £25,900 for my X5 and I sold it the following week for £30,000 within 12 hours of putting it privately on Autotrader. The guy who bought the X5 got £7,500 for his sh*tty, knackered S-Max from WBAC and he was over the moon?!!!

Do they specialise in sub-£10k?

Car will be sold as a complete unit!

Hopefully to a keen Aston wanabee!

Was considering going to a dealer for quick hassle free sale but after reading recent posts on what dealers are offering....hmmm I think private sale is the only way.
Not neccesarily true Steve, I got what I wanted from a Main Stealer. Ping me a PM if you want details.

Cheers

Gerry

Sorry.

Still waiting for Steve to either prove his claim or apologise for being so insensitive. If he does either its forgotten.

Claiming to know a dead soldier and pulling the 'sad for the loss and honoured to know him' card is something more than a few of us are bothered by. Couldn't give a st if he was a RM Officer or not, just disgusted by his claims to know people who don't exist in order to amplify his image. I've spun a yarn or two in my time to impress a bird or get a chuckle from the lads, but concocting a story about a dead officer is not on.

Understand your feelings but maybe this would be best continued via PM.
