Golf R MKVII or M135i

Whats people thoughts on these two cars, obviously the Golf is an unknown quantity at the moment. The M135i has some cracking deals available at the moment.

Will the M135i depreciate like a stone, but cheaper to buy than the Golf with the discounts available.

Didn't want to post in the BMW/VW forums as I would may have got a biased view.

Bring this post back up as VW have released the price a few weeks back.

I doubt there'll be much in it in terms of actual depreciation as long as you don't spend silly money on options. If I was you I'd just get the one you prefer driving.
