Yep. From way up north in Swedenland.

I've had it. Sadly it's not to my taste.

I'm no lawyer, but since
  • It's beer and not cars
  • They're not using our logo
  • It's spelled differently
Then it should be all gravy. If anyone is an IP lawyer then do feel free to chime in.

I had one of these last night in a Hobart bar. $10 bucks a can though!!! I asked to keep it when they came to clear our table but then got stupidly pissed and forgot what I did with it.

Sure does!

I tried the lager recently (but wasn't keen) then saw this thread which led me to the Crude oil.

...this arrived today:

Looking forward to trying it later! thumbup

My wife and I went to a bar in Leeds where they had it on the shelf. When we asked about it they gave us a couple of shots for free as it was so awful they'd had it for two years and couldn't sell it.

It was bloody horrible.

Any beer with 30% alcohol is going to have an interesting taste.

When I've bought Sink The Bismarck for people, most can't take to it. I enjoy it.

I think I'd disagree with that - though, I am a big fan of liquorice, and this is the real deal, not like the airy fairy liquorice we get over here!

It could be darker, to match the name, but that's being picky biggrin

It's quite sweet, very Liquorice-y, and it's impossible to tell if the finish is potent due to alcohol or chilli!

I love it! drink
