I got told at the weekend by someone that works for JLR that Aston will soon no longer be allowed to use the test track. Something to do with their lease. Of course, I could be wrong.

Hi Ed, do you mean JLR spat their dummy out of the AMG thing?
If so does that suggest they were not pleased with the news AM could become much stiffer competition?

Cheers Ed. I Guess that means JLR must see that as a threat to their line up. Good.

Who for JLR? I'm sure AML will find other places to test.

Hi Rich,

I didn't mention JLR but would think the OP means Jaguar Land Rover.

Indeed, you said you thought it was all going pear shaped and I asked, ironically knowing you meant at Aston, if you meant for JLR smile

Heaven forbid not JLR they seem to be going amazingly well so well they won't give be a discount on a new RRS,the sh*ts.

But the current and supplied state of my car unfortunately leaves my fruity remark laid at AM's door.......irked

This is old news! When the deal was signed with AMG AM lost the test track. The initial response was to take completed cars to Mira. This was to prove too expensive so a wiggle machine has been installed at the factory! Your new Aston Martin now does not benefit from road miles instead it is subject to a good wiggling! Believe me it is true!
