I saw the trailer for this a week ago, I was going to start a thread but forgot... rolleyes

Still, I can't wait to see it! I'm guessing it's going to be like F&F, but with proper supercars rather than tarted up 'group 20s'. I'm not sure about the storyline, it looks like it is taking itself too seriously. The race effects look like they could be good though.

Definitely looking forward to seeing this.

Looks like it's worth watching just for the supercar carnage, but not convinced with the voice-over on the trailer.

Couldn't get it to run on the website, bit found it on YouTube. That's 1:34 of my life I'll never get back.

I certainly won't be wasting an hour and a half on that load of old cowpoo.

This is not where I was expecting the spin off from Breaking Bad to go!

But the bit they show in the advertising clip looked too cgi/fake to me. No thanks, I'll wait for it to be on tv.

One of the actors said that there was no CGI used in the making of the film.

He's probably right in that none was used during filming, they just added it in once it was all made, it's a CGI fest from the snippets I have seen.

Watched this film yesterday with my son.

No CGI from what I could see, even the Koenigsegg roll looked pretty real but it's not enough to save what is a dire film. The autoporn looked nice and there's a couple of mildly amusing scenes but the script is all over the place.

It's a shame they didn't just concentrate on a decent story rather than trying to cram in as many references to other films, I mean, chaining the rear axle of a police car was cringeworthy.

I'd save this film for DVD if there wasn't anything decent on TV.

I thought it an OK movie. Lots of stupid and just awkward bits which didn't make sense to me.

Sure, the car porn was great even if a lot of them were just shells on subframes.

Going tonight with a mate. Zero plot expectations. Just want to see cars going sideways and explosions.

Went to see it with a mate last night - for exactly the same reasons as sparks_E39.
We weren't disappointed. smile

Thread resurrection!

Went to see this last week, had zero expectations, ended up thinking it was fairly decent as far as car films go. The plot is thin, and there's a few glaring continuity errors, but it's good fun.

Plus, Imogen Poots is in it... smile

Really bad movie, I lost interest and stopped watching it. Aaron Paul is not a very good actor either, his part in BB fitted him well but think he's a bit of a one trick pony.
