Here is a picture of the car at work, looking particularly tiny tongue out

I picked the Alfa up this evening and it certainly has a new lease of life. Going back in on Friday for a full service.

Andrew, I now realize I might be that Canadian with the unhealthy steering wheel obsession.

Your photos of Moto Lita have sent me round the bend. Thanks a million.

I've upped my medication in response.

Now, who are you people and where's my horse?

Andrew,

Very nice pat on your back, and I'm sure it painted a rather broad smile on your brother's face, as well.

Best,
B.

OK so it's not the TVR (again) but I quite like this bit of in-car in the Marcos from Assen in the Netherlands on Sunday

My Favourite MK1 Vixen popped over for a Coffee this afternoon and we had a play to see why his clutch pedal move a bit when he presses the brake pedal we took the box cover off to see whats going on its been like that since he had it looking at it I presume that the bar has rusted up inside a bit and is crating friction but maybe others on here have had the same problem and can shed some light on it can the pin be taken out without removing the box we tried moving it with the nuts loosened but no movement at all.
The Box does need refurbing and will be done when the engine comes out maybe next year and we will do all the rest of the engine bay rad etc the rest of the car is just so nice although its never had the chassis done so when the engine come out that does need checking again amazing when you think its been there nearly 40 years and still passes MOTs and we see Wedges etc that have failed years ago.

One thing amazes me is he has to have the seat fully forward and a wooden block bolted to the clutch pedal so he can depress it fully and that's on a MK1`.
Will have to work something out for my Tuscan when he drives her.

Andrew
Lost motion in the clevis to piston rod is common as the hole wears oval.

Looks good Bernard needs some front wheels though wink

Andrew,

Wheels are overrated, on these flights of fancy we call concept sketches. At some point, they become paper aeroplanes, and can dispense with wheels completely.

MG MoT test yesterday (passed - phew!) and Goodwood today. I also saw the red vixen (see Goodwood thread) but not the other two.

To see something different from TVR or Triumph TR.

Motorcycle meeting for Triumphs only.
Like the classic looks for the modern types but prefer the original ones.
Good weather and over hundred motorcycles.

Just some pics.
