PS3 GTA Online Thread

Well, they were supposed to give good payout, be interesting and uh.. the game was advertised as having them. Generally people like to get what they're told they're going to get, unless it's something horrible like herpes or a Q7.

Anyone else unable to get into missions tonight? None in my start menu, none coming up on vote screens - nor Rockstar created races. Deathmatches, etc are all there. I suspect Rockstar are doing some maintenance.

Who is torresbargiela? Having beaten them at "5 Peaks", I had a look in the wiki but he/she doesnt appear to be there.

He's been in the crew for a fair amount of time, I didnt realise he wasn't in the wiki though.

Yes there was no "quick join mission" contact tonight, I played a small team death match for the first time instead and really enjoyed it! We won and I even got the winning kill!

I delivered a few cars to Simeon and joined a few Red Rum races (thanks to Adam being a member, and to whoever's hosting RRR1 races for using auto invite). They're a pretty tidy bunch; both fast and consistent so I was quite pleased with my mid-field placings.

Jim mentioned that he'd lost his personal registrations. I discovered I'd lost them for my first character in the second garage only. Fortunately a few of the vehicles in there have no plate (Zentorno, Dune Buggy, Sanchez) so it didn't cost a fortune to put right. Plus I had already decided my Pigalle looks wrong with the J0BB0 plate, so I'm quite happy it's reverted to random

So, since you won't have irn bru fuelled banter and me making an arse of things for you, killing lee and calling Jim and Ned sick sick people..

One thing I've noticed is not every crew member is friendly :-(

Wouldn't mind having a we crew meet car meet at some point

I couldnt find anyone last night, even when i went to join people it said they were in a private room - invite only so gave up and terrorised americans

Another thing i meant to mention a while ago..

People need to start creating crew only seasons, so that if your in your own little private wonderland other crew members can actively find you and join your free roam, i do this but have only ever had someone join me once!

I think crew only sessions don't always work, sometimes it just does a "no compatible sessions" thing, if you choose "join crew members" it can just dump you in any open lobby that has a crew member in. Feel free to send out invites.
We should try to do a few more DM,TDM,Capture, can be surprisingly rewarding but no one ever accepts the invites.

I must confess I did smash the back window of your car in while you were stood next to it slap bang in the middle of the city in a public lobby, but you were asking for it going afk there

Ill be on tonight later on, and im with you on the DM / Capture type stuff... they are a good laugh. Im surprised i actually enjoyed the small deathmatch i played as im usually crap at shooting/killing people!

There's a newly found glitch to fling yourself through the air (like the old gate glitch): use the tattoo parlour door Somebody goes into cover against the door jamb, as with the gate glitch. Then anyone else just drives into the door and gets flung across the map.
