PS3 GTA Online Thread

Am I the only one who finds the mics annoying? All they ever seem to repeat for me is background noise, the louder sound effects from the tv the player wearing it is watching, and the occasional totally unintelligible phrase.

I always use a skype group chat these days, excellent clarity and it means people can add to or leave the chat at will. Maybe it might be worth setting up a skype wiki and lobby for us?

Some mics are clearer than others - I try to turn my telly volume down when I use mine but it still makes odd cat noises....

I find most PHers perfectly understandable, one or two are too quiet and some have daft accents, can't say I've noticed background noise being an issue for any of the crew.. unless I'm that guy
If there's music playing in the background that's probably me, feel free to tell me to turn it down

My only annoyance with headsets is mine keeps dropping out and I have to delete it and repair it, until eventually that doesn't work either and I can't hear anyone even if I switch it off so I have no idea if anyone is saying anything

Just got an email from rockstar saying its the San Andreas 10 year anniversary weekend. Double gta $ and RP, t-shirts.
Can't see any new vehicles unfortunately.

My headset gets voices and sounds through the earpieces. Don't have the tv volume on.

Getting a new one for ps4 soon as these aren't ps4 compatable.

Does it? I don't remember seeing one, I better dig out the box and have a look, that would be a nice surprise if there was

It's a wire and an earphone. It does but I'm used to having everything coming through the headset. Made playing cod/battlefield better as I could hear enemies walking up..

Going for a set of Turtle Beach Elite 800s for next headset.

Yeah plugs into the controller. Pretty much like a single earphone and mic piece for a phone.

It's ok but I found it really quiet and struggled to hear people with it.

God knows what mine sounds like. It's a bluetooth thing from game for about £12.

My current one is a turtle beach with all sound through headset

Can turn sound up and down as well as chat up and down hear every one
Perfect

Got a wireless headset for the ps4
When it comes on nov 19th with gta

Dunno if able to mute mic or
Adjust volumes so may be trading it soon

Here's hoping is an option to raise it on off roaders. Having a Sandking where you can only lower it is monumentally stupid
