Entry lists are up:Production
BEC
BEC looking very poor again, entry just into double figures so I guess down to single figures pretty quickly. Extra strong coffee and energy drinks to keep the marshals awake for the 2 hour night race or alternatively just wake me up when it's over.
Such a shame. I hope things improve for 2014 otherwise it will be yet another championship deleted from my calendar.

Nice set of pics, laptop is still processing mine.
Great action in the production race with 6 seconds in it after 90 minutes racing,
BEC was a bit disappointing due to the rather small field.
Anyone know why the Ferrari withdrew? And why was the infield "closed" halfway through the BEC race?

From what I was able to hear over the commentary;
It was meant to be a 7 race series, with only your top 6 races counting towards the points tally. However Snetterton didn't run which meant every race mattered.
I think they may have said that the Ferrari had an issue so the drivers couldn't do any night qualifying. But I'm not too sure on that as they might have been taking about the marcos which did eventually get out.
What's with the boys face on the boxster?

Agree it was a small field for BEC, but I really think this was one of the best races I've seen in ages.
>I think they may have said that the Ferrari had an issue
This was actually tactical according to the team: they were either aiming to get in the way a bit and/or take away points from other teams.
The HPR Aston vs the Neil Garner Mosler battle for those following it closely was quite amazing. Bailey's choice to stay out on slicks was a typical 'hero' with the whole field jumping onto wets at the first safety car to 'zero' when it all went wrong two laps later when he binned it into the wall. A stop for wets then the inspired decision to put Schultz in just two laps later to do the last 80mins. 4 laps down then pitting for slicks when the Mosler came info the driver change to Cintrano, you wouldn't have put a penny on Schultz catching him. With 30mins to go he needed 9 sec a lap for every lap to catch him. He then started catching him at 10sec a lap, got onto the same lap with about 5mins to go. I heard that even Team Parker were talking about blocking the HPR car to make sure they didn't get past the Mosler. Then I think Cintrano went off avoiding a spinner with 3 laps to go. Schultz passed him, then slowed on the last lap as the clock counted down to take the flag.
The Production race was great too: I still don't know how the Intersport BMW got past the Geoff Steel car?
