The replacement bonnet is virtually rust free now, just a
bit more prep and its ready to paint.

4 new door seals have been fitted and the stereo is
also fitted, the map lights and dimmer on the mirror
are now working as well smile

The interior is pretty much finished for now other than
getting a thorough clean. I have bought the Gliptone leather
treatment products to do the seats with.

Nice lock-up wink I'm trying to work out if you are a punter or a Rangie specialist? RRCs are definitely on an upward curve, effortlessly the classiest, most understated vehicle in many hotel/restaurant/pub car parks.

I'm a customer but my back ground is engineering and race cars
so i wanted to be involved in the restoration project, i've been there for many hours myself, searching parts, getting bits i needed sorted doing some of the work etc etc.

Twenty Ten Engineering is the company where the work
has been done

Dunk where did you get the door seals from? They look like the originals but all the replacements I have seen are a different pattern.

It got a wash yesterday then off for its mot, passed
with no problems and drove nicely to and from.

Should have the 5 spoke wheels on soon and then its
time to crack on with the paintwork. Get the new bonnet
painted and fitted is the first task.

Door seals are genuine LR and approx £70 each + vat, not
had the bill for those yet smile
