Can anybody tell me if there are any fundemental differences between the engine found in say a uk 2000 classic impreza and a early bug eye impreza, I'm namely wondering if a bug eye would be less likely to be prone to bottom end/nig end failure?

I've been searching for hours and have got no where.

Thanks

No significant different eith regard to piling.

The crank trigger wheel is different do wont run straight as is.

Main reason for bottom end failure imho is priming on oil changes.

Do you mean lack of priming?
