I have a mounting lug broken off a headlight. What's the best way to bond it back together?

I've seen some loctite epoxy for bonding plastic or A hot airgun plastic welding kit?

The welding kit is pretty expensive though.

It's still cheaper than a new headlight but I would like to make sure it doesn't break again.

Any advice is welcome.

Cheers

Drill small holes either side with a dremel, use tie wraps to pull it together and perhaps use some adhesive as well, Gorilla Glue is pretty good.

I used a soldering Iron last time I repaired bodywork.

Not sure if that helps.

This stuff is pretty mega

I use it an awful lot at work. Can repair plastic too - genuinely is strong as F*** - one of the powders (think the black carbon powder)is designed specifically for this type of repair - there are youtube vids if you need further proof of it's effectiveness, I've seen people repair fuel tanks with this stuff (not recommended! but does work)
