Someone who shall remain nameless managed to dribble their hot KFC oil over the fabric passenger seat. I said no eating in the car but you know how it is rolleyes

Last time I tried a car seat fabric stain remover was a good few years ago and I can't remember the brand, but it made it worse.

Any suggestions? According to their website it'll be rapeseed oil mixed with chicken fat.

I've heard that kitchen roll and iron can get oil out. Put the paper over the area and iron over the top, the iron will heat the oil and the paper will soak it up.

You just need an All Purpose Cleaner or fabric stain remover (a good one). These will remove/dissolve oil based contaminants. Ideally wet-vac the whole seat after to prevent tide marks and allow to dry thoroughly.
