Saw my first this evening travelling through Kenton. Burnt orange as best as I could describe it. Got to chat briefly with the guy whilst sitting at traffic lights. Very amenable chap. Owns a 997GT2RS as well. Made me smile a bit when he said they are becoming sill money now. Compared to a P1 hehe.
Had a standard 14 plate on it as well ending DAU. Which I thought was pretty cool.

I see bright orange indicator covers are back in vogue a la the original Boxster. Not sure they work with that shade of green though.
Its a legal requirement in America as I understand it.

Owned by I think Michael Fux and part of his extensive car collection.

Was at Silverstone GP circuit yesterday and had some passenger laps in the P1. The overall package/performance was simply amazing - was equally amazed that the owner drove it in anger and to the limit - huge credit to him.

White one on Jersey plates spotted turning into Donington Park this morning. Cant imagine it being much fun to drive over there. There was a white 12C about 20 seconds down the road behind it.
P1 looked awesome. I drive past the McLaren dealer in Hockley Heath every day and have never seen a white one, and then 2 in 20 seconds!!

Saw the white Jersey registered P1 going south on the M5 past Bristol.

Followed it and it followed me for 20 miles or so.

Awesome.

I guess being in Woking it is to be expected to see som McLarens, but two P1s today made be go a bit wibbly as I hadn't seen any on the road before, so P1 OOV followed short after by 12 NH (or NH 12...) both looked other worldly on the A320 heading for Mc HQ. Shame the full track attack look isn't (legally) possible on the road

P1 OOV is PP3, a factory car. 12 NH is a customer car that has an arrangement with the factory.

Excuse my ignorance but what does that mean?

Apologies I was deliberately vague. Essentially the car is at the disposal of the factory until such time as the arrangement ends.

Thanks. Not really sure what that means, but thanks for the reply.

A friend said he saw a silver one in Wokingham the other week, no more details on it other than that, sorry.

Saw one of the preproduction cars at Kop Hill on Saturday, smaller than I expected but a lovely bit of kit - friendly chap driving it (worked for Mclaren). Impressed that he set about cleaning it as soon as he arrived, and later on drove it up the hill biggrin

Rather a lot of them at the Mclaren GT owners trackday at spa. Has to be said, one thing that has impressed me is the number of P1 owners willing to track their car.
