I think it's because they have offered them on the Spyder, GT4, GT3 and the GT3RS without first checking that their supplier could cope with the volume.

I've been told that the PTS delays are because more people than expected have chosen PTS on these limited run cars.

I don't know if it is all down to Porsche not researching the supply and demand but it's plausible. Fortunately it appears that most of us will get our cars mid spring to early summer, just when we want them smile

I am sure a few will and we will see nice spec cars for £90k up for sale.
My contact at Porsche Germany told me demand for the spyder is higher than for the GT4 in relation to production numbers. Make of that what you will.

Last chance saloon to bag that N/A mid engined small(ish) Porsche I guess. Mini echoes of 458 speciale aperta perhaps.
Should help tow 987 Spyder prices up

Final order went in this week. Gotta love Porsche - I didn't realise there is no light in the vanity mirror unless you spec light design!

You gotta love Mazda the new MX5 for £23k comes with sat nav, dab radio, cruise, bose premium sound system, mobile phone connectivity, leather interior, keyless entry, steering mounted Bluetooth and audio control and the list goes on and on - I did hear Mazda gives all their staff the Porsche Options Price List as a Christmas gift so all the family can have a good laugh together sat around the dinner table laugh

Had my PEC (Part one) last week. Got the, with Spyder, visit Aug. 21st.

Just added PCCB to my Spec. The delivery delay means I can afford more but I am wondering if I'm starting to lose the plot.

PCCB - nice one.
Delay for me means I keep looking through the classifieds for a stop-gap.
Trying not to get tempted..

Having peeked at your car history, that could be very risky! How many cars?!?!?! :-)

Didn't know there was a delay?

(I'm not getting PCCB, already have too many acronyms)

Sorry badly worded post.

Because of the OTHER delays (my build slot and PTS). There is no delay on PCCB - As far as I'm aware! If it starts to look like the Reg. number will start with a 6 or a 17 then I'll start to worry. I have a holiday, in France, planned with it for summer 2016 - if the Backlog at Dover has cleared by then smile

That's a nice collection of pictures. Kind of glad I didn't go for Guards Red now though. It's ok but for me it just doesn't quite work as well as some of the other colours.

It gets worse - I get most of the above list plus voice control and dual zone climate control as standard, in my new £16k van...

Good old Porsche, eh...?
