So did Edwards get the boot then? Rather than retired. Seems weird
From what I've heard he's not been paid so walked. No other reason for replacing him with someone slower from within the Forward family. Bradley must be looking forward to next year.

Why? He's riding for Tech3 isn't he?

Crashes table, may be smile
Unlikely, 4 crashes in a weekend at Germany, parctically 1 a session, must be costing Yamaha a fortune.
I would say Bradl is still ahead for that title. It is going to be hard to compete with someone who crashes on the sighting lap smile
And Mr lowes is well into the teens with 17 crashes so far this year.... most crashes in any class in GP's!!
Bautista must be pushing hard for the title !

No, they wont work.

The Aprilia is massively underpowered as standard, and the BSB rules on engine tuning make it a bike that simply wouldnt cut the mustard.

My Money would be on a pair of Ducati's, Birdy & Ducati have a good relationship and BSB need a big team to run them, Easton was magical on a ducati and has a two year deal, the rumour mill puts Laverty & Easton on one side of the garage and Shakey +1 on the Rapid Kawasaki side...
My sources from PBM tell me it's between BMW (most likely option) and Ducati.

Also there are plans for them to be doing the roads next year too.

There were several comments when he was kind enough to give an interview in the hospitality suite of the Ulster GP.

Most of them from our table.

I was the only one being vaguely respectful but as I was dressed in a shell suit and Afro-wig at the time so it may have been misinterpreted.

Presume, results:

23 Ret, 16 Ret, 13 12, 18 15, 18 16, 22 17, Ret 19 19
Shame though it is there must be serious questions whether he will ever get his mojo back, completely understandable if he can't.

He's a proper road racer though isn't he? They tend to struggle on short tracks. I know there's the odd exception but for every exception I'll give you 5 who struggled.

Yep the standard answer seems to be Hizzy and Foggy did well at the TT therefore very rider can succeed at both. They conveniently forget all the good TT riders who struggle with short tracks. Like McGuinness, all 873 Dunlops, Anstey, Cummins, Amor and so on. And I have you more than 5 per rider as there were 873 Dunlops in my list wink

No surprise really the whole ride/season was based around the road races.

Don't think it's a coincidence that it was announced after the last big road race.

Short circuit results poor so why continue throwing money at it

Joey Dunlop showed he could circuit race in the World Superbike series 1988.

Many others like Rutter, Whitham all circuit/TT racers.

So 15 years ago he won a junior race series and then a few points scoring finishes. The point I'm making is that he doesn't win short circuit championships for fun, not do those who go road racing from short circuits automatically excel either.
