PH cars 0-£20k
Discussion
Time and again the same options seem to come up in what car threads. We all know the default answer to any question is MX-5, but what if you split it into price brackets? Okay, this isn't strictly every budget - we'll exclude the powerfully built company directors who don't get out of bed for anything worth less than £80k - but in the real world, how about:
0-£2k: Mazda MX-5 (mk1/2), Toyota MR2 (mk1/2), BMW 328 Sport (E36)
£2-£5k: Renaultsport Clio 182, Porsche 944, Toyota MR2 (mk3)
£5-£10k: Porsche Boxster (986), BMW M3 (E36/46), Nissan 350Z
£10-£15k: TVR Chimaera/Griffith, BMW Z3M breadvan, Lotus Elise (S1/2)
£15k-£20k: Porsche 911 (996), TVR Cerbera, Caterham Superlight
The RX-8 probably needs to be in there, either as a hero or a sort of anti-hero depending on your perspective, and perhaps the E90 BMW 335D (mapped of course). Any other thoughts?
