Hi all
About to have Nitrons fitted and while works being done I am having the wheels refurb to shadow chrome and the brake callipers painted ,now i am in two minds about colour , should I go gloss black with polished lettering or red with the polished lettering ?? Black does tend to blend in the background and not stand out , I know at the end of the day it's personal preference but people's ideas please .

Paul.

It does look good in red though. Where's Harry Hill when you need him?

Unless you more proud of your callipers than anything else, paint them black.

Red is too Saxo for me. Maybe dark blue against the silver car?

Why not yellow with black 'TVR' text?

Less 'Saxo' than red but still would look good against the silver.

Hmmm. Mine are red as standard. So what's that all about? is it an early car thing?

Paul - couple of questions from a fellow Tuscan owner;

- just to confirm are those wheels shadow chrome as they look darker than other shadow chrome examples I have seen?

- secondly, did you ever consider yellow brake calipers to go with your light blue Crystal Topaz colour? I have seen this on a few Ferraris in the same body colour and it works, but not convinced on the Tuscan.

Cheers.

What ever colour you choose just don't use Brake Caliper Specialists. I did, had to chase them several times as they had had them for a month and when they came back, bits were missing and they had not plugged any of the bolt holes so I had to re-tap them all and buy new bolts. Not impressed. If you want to see red on a Crystal Topaz one of my posts has it on somewhere.
