Best lease car deals available?

Not sure I'd agree with that. The opposite in fact - except for the BMs - my xs rate is ridiculous! Don t always assume that it's cheaper to book the mileage upfront. An e350 at 6ppm is very good value, I would say.
It's a very good point you make actually and one that I haven't truly looked into. I'm in a quagmire of PCH vs. PCP/ deposit value vs. monthlies/ Maintenance vs. none/ GFV/ Quoted mileage vs. excess miles charge/ BMW 330s and 530s vs. Merc E350s etc etc. So trying to find my way through all of that I will definitely look into the excess charges and see if that makes more sense than up front high mileage quotes. Thank you.thelawnet said:
If I'm reading those figures correctly, that works out at roughly £6.5k inc VAT to lease an Astra for 2 years? No thanks.VX Foxy said:
Short answer...yes, very fking common. They're mostly Cowboys and shysters imo. The best deals need persistence and patience.
Seems to be the case so far with companies I have been dealing with, so I order a 335D, don't have stock, would you like a 318d tourer? no I fking don't, how about a good deal on a Focus? really?????Out of the 2 cars I personally would like (A6 saloon or 335D saloon) I have more chance of finding Jihad John!

Will do. Who did you order through? When did you put your order in? I don't actually know what dealership mine is coming from. Just had vague updates from Gateway 2 Lease.
I am G2L as well who, so far, have been very good. I ordered in August and requested December delivery due to existing contract on current car not expiring until then. I went for a few other extras - folding mirrors, arm rest and black panel display.1988alz said:
Hi
Anyone come across any a3 sportback sport offers or even sline.
Also when you fill out a online quote request do they do a credit check with that as I'm getting emails back that seems to look like they do. And I don't want to be getting loads of credit checks done.
Thanks
Of course they run credit checks!Anyone come across any a3 sportback sport offers or even sline.

They'll run an ID check with a credit ref agency, but those don't count against your creditworthiness. I think you'll find many companies do this, all the time, about you. You'd be shocked, but it doesn't have any negative effects on you. However, If you then go on to get the broker to make the application for the lease then of course there will be a full credit check. You only need to worry if you're rotten as a pear.
Has anyone had any dealings with: the leasing company called "leasing options" based in Manchester - www.leasingoptions.co.uk ?
They are offering a personal deal on a new SLK 250 AMG Auto at the moment that seems a lot more competitive than anything else being advertised.
I've spoken to them, have no problem getting them on the phone and no problem in getting return emails.
They have offered me stock cars initially, but I didn't like it either spec or colour and they then offered me factory order using the same discount, they are suggesting billed slot early January and delivery late January.
The car is being funded "arval" rather than buying Mercedes corporate. The last one I had was Mercedes corporate, hence being cautious and asking questions here.
If anyone had any dealings with them either positive or negative I would be grateful feedback.

Yes, I had 6 company cars off them at my last company for different people, one of them for me. Can't comment on the particular deal you mention or their current pricing, but they are a perfectly reputable company to deal with.
