Good deals on the SEAT Leon FR - it's the 150bhp version not the more powerful one but it's a nice spec for the money. Apparently availability is very limited. Currently three different metallic colours available, Silver, Grey or Black.

The rates also don't go through the roof at high mileages like a lot of the deals - I got a quote back at £25k p/a which works out to £7300 over the two years.

I looked at a Leon FR 6+35 a couple of years ago from FVL, ready ti go, asked what the mileage excess was.....17 ppm

How much? Solent are doing the vRS estate for £180 inc VAT a month.
Not as cheap as that! Never heard of Solent, but that's cheap. The one I looked at was £300 a month for a 24 month contract.

Edit: It was for the Blackline which is the special edition VRS however.

What do you get extra in the Blackline? Surely it's not worth the extra £2760.

SKODA OCTAVIA VRS Diesel Hatchback manual
2.0TDi 184 VRS 4dr
From£145.99 + VATper month
Personal Contract Hire: £175.19 inc VAT
Initial Payment: £1500.00 plus VAT
Contract Term:24 months
Annual Mileage:5000 (Call for other mileages)

The broker doesn't set the excess mileage charges, the funder does

It's not bad but nowhere near as good as the earlier deals, you can only do 8k miles a year and an 11+23 profile massages the monthlies nicely.

The excess mileage fee is now 17p + Vat per mile from CVL I think, so not such a good deal as it seems at first look.

If you are in that area of the market. Swift one size fits all car, its hard to find better value.

Think it was 6ppm + Vat. Not 100% on that though.

Best lease deals in my opinion are from LingsCars... website makes your eyes dizzy but their customer service is second to none!

This seems like a good deal for an E Class:

MERCEDES-BENZ E CLASS DIESEL SALOON E220 BlueTEC AMG Line 4dr 7G-Tronic (met)

£300 inc VAT on a 6+23 for 10k miles (£362.50 per month all in)

http://www.carsave.co.uk/personal-lease-cars/merce...

That's a £37000 list price car.

I was just going off what was posted, I didn't click a link. I'd need 10k to be fair. DSG wouldn't bother me either way, haven't had a manual for a while now.

This is an outrageous slur smile

In fact, do you REALLY want the "cheapest" of anything? It's spitty and miserable to live on the cheapest stuff. ...Life is for living!

Really, most people want a good product, excellent service (outstanding in fact), witty banter, fun, and a feel-good factor. Life is emotional. Stop being so bloody tight.

I am in Peru at the moment, so my replies will be slow as hell.
