Best lease car deals available?

Good insight, thanks, that's what I'm looking for. I have £1500 of 'equity' in the car at the moment, so it's not that bad (clearly paid too big a deposit!). So that's partly why I don't want to get out of it, plus it's due a service and new tyres so I don't really want to spend that and give it back for a new car.
I don't 'need' to change cars, do we ever 'have' to change cars?! I think I will eventually be scared away by the payments on this little adventure though.
What Moffat said here is not true on everything Im afraid, unless you are getting a vehicle that has heavy depreciation.I don't 'need' to change cars, do we ever 'have' to change cars?! I think I will eventually be scared away by the payments on this little adventure though.
Usually after 50% of your lease you are roughly breaking even rather than being in negative equity - it would have to be a very heavily depreciating vehicle to suffer big negative equity.
When it comes to PCP there is the 1/2 and 2/3 rule. This (as Moffat pointed) means that after you have pad 50% of the finance, typically 2/3 way through the contract you can simply hand the keys back and walk away. The funders do not like this though and whilst it will not affect your credit score etc if you wanted to lease with that funder again they may refuse to offer finance as they know you might early terminate.
Also nowadays the GFV values now are more realistic/pessimistic than they used to be so the risk of negative equity has been reduced as funders don't want customers in negative equity as its bad PR.
Hope this helps

Thinking of PCPing for the first time. The deals on 3 series BMWs appear too good to pass up unless I'm missing something. Coming to end of a car loan and I've always had a monthly budget for car finance so this seems natural.
Looking for. 320d touring Xdrive msport with vision pack and adaptive msport suspension. 10k per annum should be plenty. 36 month term preferable but I'm flexible. Would be p/ding a 59 plate TDCI fiesta with 70k on the clock and a broken fog light surround on the front bumper which I can't be arsed to get fixed.
Can I realistically expect to be paying under 400/ month? Personal not business
Seen this so far. https://broadspeed.com/CarView/BMW/3-Series/35920/...
What am I liked to see at the end of the deal if I want to take another PCP deal from the same dealer?
Thing is if you bought used say a F10 535d/640d e92 M3 for the monthlies you mention above over 5 years you'd own these cars outright and during that time be a vastly better option than a 318/320d given its PH website. Plenty of non BMW interesting cars to buy at that rate too. At the halfway point of a PCP unless you paid a HUGE deposit I guarantee you are in major negative equity, clarify this by 1) getting a settlement figure and 2) getting px price to see what the shortfall is.
You only really have a few options:
1. Keep the car until positive equity or until end of PCP and handback
2. Try and part exchange and offset any discount against negative equity - still losing money you would have saved
3. Wait until 50% of payments made (not term) and then voluntary terminate the agreement
Since you already have another car that is suitable I am not sure why you need to change cars. For most journeys you car should be fine I think even with 2 kids, and as they get to 2+ you don't need half the stuff.
I would hold out for the Focus RS, get a deposit down early and then PX at the delivery time. You could always sell the deposit if you change your mind.
Thanks, missed this the first time round. It's nice to get a well rounded opinion! You only really have a few options:

£298 upfront
£15 per month lease
£50 per month for the batteries
Total of £1,858
4.5k a year allowance.
17BHP of pure electric might.
Really though it could be useful if you're 'one of those London types' and want to avoid £10 a day for the congestion charge. Don't all rush at once...
Jokes aside I've enquired about that deal.As featured here - http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/new-renault-twizy-...

I pay more in petrol per month than the cost of that thing plus my work is all into that green rubbish so they can pay to recharge it for all I care. If not I'll bang an extension lead out the window and charge it anyway.
As a local commuter car it's ideal

I do very low mileage a day to a train station and I believe one of these means I qualify for free parking. I'm paying around 80 quid or so for parking a month, so I think this almost becomes free !I pay more in petrol per month than the cost of that thing plus my work is all into that green rubbish so they can pay to recharge it for all I care. Isn't there some disclaimer on BCA's paperwork saying something like 'this isn't the official inspection, just our own one as transport agent'?
Yes and noThey sent one person to see the car who did the official inspection and provided paperwork.
BCA logistics then came out and gave me another set of paper work, which as you say, isn't an official inspection, its just a form listing any damage, which I assume is for their own liability incase some claimes they damaged it in transit.
I believe the official inspect used to be at their site rather than on collection.
The car, to be blunt, had been trashed. 2 years of 2 young kids meant there were a few bits broken inside. Outside, there was a deep scuff on the rear bumper and a dent on the rear qtr. The front wing was dented and scratched as was the front bumper.
All of the exterior stuff got noted down on the paperwork. From speaking to VWFS, if they get enough for it at auction then this can mitigate against any costs that may have been charged. i.e. if they get what they want even with the damage then there is no problem.

When I VT'd on my A6 VWFS sent out a guy from BCA to collect it (lots of acronyms there!)

that sounds a bit silly to me... surely VWFS either charge you or they dont? The car, to be blunt, had been trashed. 2 years of 2 young kids meant there were a few bits broken inside. their not going to come back and say oh the car didnt sell for what we expected so your due us £1,000... Seriously! or am i missing something here?

It's an evidential problem. CAP says that the car is worth £18k, clean. If they say you have caused £1k of damage and it still sells (unfixed) for £18k then something is wrong, somewhere, and it's not worth pursuing.their not going to come back and say oh the car did sell for what we expect so your due us £1,000... I kid you not (emotions can never be accurately portrayed in a post) I've priced up a cheap car cover for the winter/colder months as well as asking for a price on the doors option.
I'll let you know what the dealer quotes tomorrow if they phone me.

You guys should check out the deals on the Renault Zoe. I'm sure I've seen some very low priced deals posted on PH before and it would be a far more practical option that the Twizy. Dunno if it would qualify for the free parking though. I'll let you know what the dealer quotes tomorrow if they phone me.

Any chance of any deals?!?!?!?!?
http://www.centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk/vehicle/c...
£2k+VAT down
£119.99+VAT for 23 months
5k annum
Total £5711.72
Assuming its the standard 6p+VAT per mile, an additional 3k per year is £432. So a total on a 8k plan of £6143.32.
Just completed the application for this, hoping to confirm the order today. 8-10 week wait and excess mileage is 6p+ VAT. Looks like the ideal runaround.http://www.centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk/vehicle/c...
