Yes, not bad, although my I think my deal was better, 6 + 47 deal, £1620 down and £270 dead per month and that is for an SE Tech model.

Cheapest I can see on the site for a similar deal is £284 a month, OK that is for 10k miles per year and mine is 8k per year (we only do between 6-7k miles per year) but the 1st month payments are over £1900 almost £300 more than mine. This could be the 6 x payments plus an admin fee to the lease company. I went direct to a LR Dealer and ask them to match or beat the lease price I was offered, they actually beat it and no admin fee, which probably explains why my 1st payment is almost £300 less.

As a family runabout it should do the job just fine.

Yeah those were for SE not SE tech, again the SE tech is much more, despite only a £2k higher list price.

I just really want to know is if this is some sort of short term offer, or if i am likely to be able to find a similar deal in 6 months

Hi guys - I don't know much about financing new cars as I usually buy much older ones myself. The mrs wants a Kia Sportage 1.7 KX-3, list is around £24k and Drive the Deal suggest I can buy one for around £22k.

She wants monthly payments which are as low as possible. I presume if Evoques are £250 I should be able to get a Kia for £150-180?

Is leasing a good option for a Kia? Anyone have any good deals on these?

You can't base the bargain lease deals on the list price at all. As has been mentioned in the last few posts, the Evoque deals are only on a specific model with/without certain options.

Specifically for KIAs, surely the idea is to own one for a long time to make use of their huge warranty period.

That's correct, I am getting the MY16 with the new engine in Sept.

All the decent deals I see for the Evoque are for the new model with the new 2.0D ingenium engine.

About a month ago you could get a SE model for about £260 a month and about 1500 down as 1st payment. I think they are getting more expensive.

I went for the SE Tech as it was only another £10 a month more.

Agree totally, you will probably find the Kia deal (not looked) is more expensive. Residuals play a big part in the good lease deals.

That's a good deal. The excess mileage fees maybe slightly higher by a few pence per mile than other deals if you go way over, if 8k miles is enough that is not an issue. Suspect it wont include recovery. I am getting one later in the year not from them and its £12 a month more for 5k miles with recovery. Inexpensive motoring for what should be a fun car.

Makes sense guys, cheers. Been reading this thread and looking online and you're right. Going to expand the search to cover some soft readers well in budget using some of the above links.

It is a 6+23 deal, plus VAT.
So the deposit/1st monthly payment is £791.93 the £131.99 for 23 months. Totalling £3827.70

A thumbs down from me. £13500 over 2 years @ 8k/yr.
By comparison Golf R and M135 deals were a lot lot less ~£8k.
Is the RS3 70% more car to you?
