Any good high mileage leases around? I typically do around 25K miles a year so just checking if anyone knows where is best to look for such a deal.
Golf GTD would be my weapon of choice, maybe Audi a4 avant with a decent diesel engine.

If anyone can point me in the right direction/or let me know any tempting deals at the minute that would be much apreciated.
Thanks!

Monthly costs rise a lot when you go about 10k miles.

Depending on the excess mileage sometimes its better to buy secondhand for that kind of mileage.
But it does depend on your budget of course.

Second hand works out a similar cost as you have to service, and at this mileage you'll go outside the warranty, so a pot has to be kept to one side just in case ( DMF, DPF, etc) plus consumables that will wear out if you buy second hand as you are further along the wear curve.
Whilst these issues are probably unusual for a motorway miles car, they are not unknown.

Five guys who have allowances in our company.
One has put some of his cash to use and buys a 1 year old delivery mileage car from Motorpoint every year, and takes a 25k average mileage two year old car back. New car every year, avoids massive depreciation bu buying cheap/newish and not putting high mileage on.
I lease for 2-3 Years, with a 1+ 23/35 profile
Another two guys do 5 year HP
And one does PCP on a one year old car ( although he found it difficult to get one with this high a mileage )
We all moan about not having enough money to do it :-)

Seat Leon FR is a bargain at the moment, I don't know if it would be suitable though if you're thinking about A4 Estate I got 1 + 23 on an FR ( with Tech Pack ) for under £400.
I've seen deals for Octavias as well.

Good sites which allow you to adjust the mileage up to 25k include:
Allcarleasing.co.uk
http://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/
firstvehicleleasing.co.uk

It varies quite a bit car to car. For example a BMW 320d M Sport

10k/yr 9+23 £188+VAT (£7219 / £0.36/mile)
15k/yr 9+23 £217+VAT (+15%) (£8333 / £0.28/mile)
20k/yr 9+23 £242+VAT (+12%) (£9293 / £0.23/mile)

The >10k rates look quite reasonable to me.

I would see what adding M Sport + pack would add to the price.

You get big brakes, HK stereo, Xenon lights and 19 inch wheels.

But for £322 per month, I think that's a great deal.

Under Options it says: M Sport Plus pack - 3 Series £1583.33

So - I presume that's going to be paid off over 24 months, which makes it an extra £66 ?

I'd imagine the substantial positive effect M Sport will have on the residual will make payments only slightly more. Just a guess, however.

On my 330d it was the cost of the options over the term but it also gets included in the deposit.
So in my 3+35 deal, (Total Cost / 36) x 38 !

The fact that residuals are better made no difference.

Does anyone have good options for higher miles? 20k a year for example? I run my own limited company but not VAT registered if this makes a difference? I just want a tool for work that is ok on long journeys.

I guess once the mileage goes up the price is moving in and around what it'll be if I'm to buy anyway.
Plus buying gives the extra flexibility for if i happen to pass the 25K.
thanks for the options you listed, must have a look around
