You never see any deals on S Max's or Vauxhall Zafiras or similar we'd jump at it.

Freedom had some good deals last month, not sure what's still valid in the new quarter though.

Hi guys, got my 4 series coming at the end of next week, im pretty excited!

Just wondering if I need GAP insurance with BMW FS/Alphabet? I've seen online that BMW FS include GAP insurance in the USA, but I cant find anything about BMW FS/Alphabet in the UK.

Does anyone know? Is it necessary?

I think GAP insurance will become the new PPI misselling scandal.

Just for interest, if we class 'best' as cost against RRP, what comes out top?

Calculation can be any term, any mileage but must include initial, monthly's, admin and VAT.

Term must be calculated back over two years.

The S8 deal has to be up there. (back on page 417). I'm not sure what the admin is so say £200.
(Total lease cost) £14133 / (list price) £81385 = 0.173
x 100 = Audi S8 17%

My GTD deal from start of last year...though I'm sure the RRP was closer to 30K thenconfused
9020 / 27590 x100
VW GTD 32%

Recent deal on G2L
4703 / 18280
Nissan Juke 25%

Can anybody beat the S8 deal?

Best S8 deal directly from dealer was £11250 total for two years, basic spec. I wouldn't use list price as comparison but the cash price. S8 can be sourced for about 58-59K after discount through drive the deal. List price seems to be irrelevant in many cases. So it's £11250/£58000 = 0.1939... Don't forget it was price for 5K miles pa, so it was another £1080 during the lease, for 10K miles per annum.

That's very good for a £70k car

You'd think VAG group will have some spectacular deals given the PR and legal issues they are to be facing

Last Wednesday I signed up for a lease deal with Smartlease on a Ford Focus ST- 2 plus Nav 2.0 tdci in white. These prices are including VAT,the last of the Q3 deals and there is no admin charge, you can choose the initial payment and monthly payments from several choices.5000 miles and excess mileage charge 4.8p per mile.Q4 prices have increased.

Initial payment 2068.38
23 x 114.91

Total 4711.31. List price is 24731 including white and Nav. That is 19.05% of list price.

Tomorrow I will conclude a deal for a Hyundai i30 1.6 crdi 110 SE from the same company for my wife, price includes metallic.prices include VAT,no admin charge, again you can choose the initial payment and monthly payments from several choices,5000 miles and again 4.8p per mile. This deal is the Q3 price but has not increased in Q4.

Initial payment 1511.78
23 x 84.70

Total 3459.88. List price is 19009 including metallic paint. That is 18.20% of list price.

Both cars delivered the end of this month.

With the Golf GTD at 32% and Juke at 25% it kooks like I am winning so far as you cannot include the S8 as anyone can get 20k off the list price so its not a fair comparisom.

Edited twice as I put 500 miles instead of 5000 and cant spell golf.

Scirocco R direct from VW

160 x 23 + £2k = £5,680 rrp £32,490

5680/32490 = 17.48%

In the end I went for white which was an extra tenner a month which bumps it up to about 18%.

2 fantastic deals I've had thanks to this thread. Both should be here about December time.

Btcc, which company is that with? Sounds good with the flexibility.

Re the S8 list, yes there are discounts but there are a it brings in too many variances so just working it off RRP. Result doesn't mean anything per say, just an interesting factor to calculate.
