anyone drive a kia c'eed diesel automatic?

Hello everyone. I'm after some advice. I currently rent a few taxis out. One of my drivers needs an automatic. The local authority stipulate that the vehicle must be under 4 years old to obtain its first plate. It also must be over 1400cc. I've thought about peugeot 308 1.6hdi auto and kia ceed 1.6d auto but would appreciate any advice, thoughts or experiences. I don't want to spend more than 6000 and need to factor in the maintenance costs of car doing 35000 miles a year.

Kia consumable parts cost loads - at least they do for my 1.4 Rio.
