OK, so after taking mini wijit this year, I am now trying to decide if it's worth going next time. Do we have any idea what specials might be there? As a show it was good, but not great and whilst I'd like to take him again, with the exception of a few very nice cars he was pretty underwhelmed by what he saw.

Hi Wijit,

There are big changes for Performance Car Show this year. Have a look at the website and facebook groups for more info.

James, are there plans to have a P1 there as it's being used on the adverts?

Indeed, at a time when many of us are "umming and ahhing" over whether to go, a little better communication wouldn't go amiss. Last year was far from the best show we've ever attended, and we were hoping for something to give us a sense of "wow!" for the next one.

I got a couple of tickets for Christmas! Hope it is a good show.
Even the Facebook page isn't giving much away

£41 including car park has put me off this year. All shows at the NEC are overpriced not the fault of the organisers but the NEC.

Ha ha, pigs will fly, and there is a stock picture of a veyron on the actual show website too, very naughty.. Regarding the P1 if there isn't one at the show the organisers need stringing up. I can't imagine any other trade show where Advertising material bares no relation to the content of the show, nothing more than false advertising tbh. The F1 cars are mackle ups of old testing parts out the skip with no engines, its just so cynical. While we're on the subject the food is over priced rubbish in exactly the same way that blights club racing. People eat and drink better now than they ever have in the uk, serving muck out of vans sticks in the throat tbh I noticed on a recent trip to watch the british gt championship it was the same.

I'm not sold on the premise of the event anyway, leaving aside the arena, it should be free to get in. How are we being entertained by groups either promoting thier products or trying to sell us thier goods?? The promoter should get enough revenue from the groups/ companies promoting thier businesses surely?, without getting the general public to cover it? ? Am I missing something?.

Been going for the last 7 years ish. Slowly got worse and worse with the price continually going up. Live action arena does nothing for me. Filled in the questionnaire the last couple of visits. Promises of it getting better have been coming for the last couple of years with no apparent improvement. Will not be going this year or the future unless write ups show genuine improvements and value for money.

Ive been going for 4 years. First time was excellent, especially having tiff needell and vicki henderson presenting. Now with the presenters Ive never heard of that for one thing puts me off. Live action arena seems to have been the same for the last 3 years. I have to say im sick to death of seeing Terry Grant do the same routine. One thing I liked last year was the paddock pass though, nice how you can see the show from the backend. Still gonna give it a try this year though. Its a real shame top gear live isnt around here anymore.
