Michelin Pilot Road 4 is out
Discussion
I know Michelin bike tyres get a lot of love here, so it might be worth noting the pilot road 4 has just been press released.
They're getting creative with the rears...

Makes sense in my head; less tread on the shoulders = better cornering grip.
In my head that means 'panic I might run out of the treaded bit in the wet, ride like even more of a poof'.They'll probably be my next tyre, as I am well impressed with my PR3's, compared to the utterly ste Dunlop D201 (I think) that was on the bike when I got it.
May as well stick with what I know if I like it - when tyres last as long as the PR's do, it's not worth the risk.
But then... it's all marketing, will the PR4 be worth it, compared to the good old PR3 when it comes down to it I wonder. Originally, I only went with the newfangled PR3 over the tried and tested PR2 as some said wet grip was better.

Any experience how the PR3 compared to Bridgestone's T30?
I comparative tested the PR3 against the Dunlop RoadSmart 2 and the Bridgestone BT023. The Dunlop was the bestMike600F said:
