Volunteer Dog Walker!
Discussion
I'm looking to get a dog, but to convince Mrs JagPJ, I made a agreement to find a dog to walk for six months.
Any ideas on how I could go about this? Charity or elderly person that needs a hand? It would be early, before work and when I got home from work. It doesn't have to be every day, I can just walk my self on the others.
Just have to prove to the wife (and me) that I can do it!
I'm in the Crawley area.

Volunteer to walk at local dog rescue centre?
This is your best bet in my opinion - I walk at Binfield Dog Rescue every two to three weeks as I love dogs but work too long hours to feel comfortable owning one.At a dog rescue you also get exposed to all sort of dogs - good and bad. Some you will want to take home straight away, other are little sts! It's a great way to also learn how to handle dogs and get to know the broad array of breeds as their general personalities do vary greatly, it should help you get the right type of dog for you.
