I've got a bit of rust on the pug at the rear end of the front arch, where it meets the floor. I'm going to treat it with bilt hamber deox gel and hydrate 80 to get rid of the rust, then paint over with high zinc primer.

Next step is protection from mechanical damage and abrasion by stones etc. I've got a tin of bilt hamber underbody stuff, but it doesn't seem very tough on a test piece I did. I've had a look on the dinitrol website but despite reading all the descriptions I can't tell which one I need.

Does anyone know which of the dinitrol products is the closest to OE (or better than OE, since the old girl is getting on a bit now)?

Have access to a compressor so potential application methods are compressed air or brush. Happy to be pointed in the direction of another brand if dinitrol is not where it's at.

Thanks

Charlie

I think most stuff remains flexible to a degree, I have heard nothing but good reports about dinitrols products.
