This is why you (potentially) need deep pockets if you are doing a touristenfahrten!!
fk me yikes

New underpants for the black Impreza driver!

Never been to the 'Ring but following that closely at that speed is asking for trouble on a tourist day it would seem. You don't get much warning of an incident ahead.
Just found a view from the black car: http://youtu.be/x2GORR1aQDs
Fookin ell that was luckeh!

Blue car came so close to nailing that muscle car (Ford Falcon?). Better save than the black car in many respects.

I can't work out if the Red car anchored on or simply backed off and the blue and black car didn't notice until it was too late?

If he anchored on, he's partly at fault here as there was no real reason that he shouldn't have just passed the white car on the left.

Just last week I was pinning down a tight country lane and coming around a tight corner (that I couldn't see around) there was a tractor in the worst position possible. I braked and slowed, then watched my rear view for my dozey mate, I backed off my brakes to allow him more room to stop and gave him space to get past if he couldn't stop in time.

If I had just anchored on and took the middle of the road no doubt he would've hit me or taken evasive and probably binned his car.

KAZ: Pushing the virtual divide

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bnXy81vk1LY

1 hour 24 minutes about the passion and creative drive of Kazunori Yamauchi, the architect behind Gran Turismo's birth and breath-taking fifteen-year evolution. This film will trace his relentless willingness to challenge himself, to hold none of his past achievements sacred, and push beyond the virtual divide in his pursuit of perfection. Through the support of PlayStation, Kaz's journey has forever changed the gaming and automotive landscape and in doing so, has redefined how we perceive the relationship between art, entertainment and culture.

If you watch the other two vids (from blue and black Impreza respectively) you get a better picture. Red car does anchor on but in reaction to the white M3, which itself is reacting to the classic muscle car thing ahead which virtually stops when still 500m from the marshalls on track. The blue and black cars are going too quick to react in time and have to take avoiding action around the sudden road block.

With hindsight red car and M3 would have been better braking more gently and going past the classic, but I guess the natural reaction is to stay 'in line' in this situation.

More I watch this the more I think if I ever go to the 'Ring I'll drive it like a country road rather than a race track. The tourist days have no where near enough marshalls for the speed some cars travel at.

Yet still takes 6 years to release games that aren't finished with the same gaping flaws. laugh
