Octopi are incredibly smart creatures - so much so that they should never be kept as pets, because they actually become suicidally bored! It's also illegal in most countries to catch, kill or operate without anaesthetic on an octopus, due to its high level of sentience.
Another fun fact - as well as possessing a small degree of camouflaging ability, an octopus will also turn bright red when it gets angry

it is impressive yes, and I'm sure it would be some kind of exciting to be sat in it, but it's all so smooth and virtually silent it's basically just a video of some numbers changing on an LCD screen. An LCD screen which looks like something off some kind of domestic energy usage monitoring app.
