I tried one of these at a fair. The carny was charging people and offering a cash prize if you could get 100 yards. He was demonstrating it fine but I watched all day and no one took home the chocolates. Bloody impossible!!

How strange. On early dumper trucks the steering was like that(are newer ones?)and I had no problem steering them. Certainly wouldn't put money on being able to ride 'that' bike though.

my uncle used to have one of these bikes and the fiendish trick with it was that the steering is both back to front and geared, so you are having to try and cope with two strange things going one at once....plus the crank was fixed, so if you stopped pedalling whilst you tried to sort the steering out you just fell off.

he used to offer £50 if anyone could ride it in a figure of 8 - and only ever had to pay out a couple of times

Robert Downey Jnr walks out Ch4 interview

Interviewer is a tit, imo - you can really see the effect on RDJ.
RDJ looked like he wasn't really in the mood from the start. It was Tarantino that "shut down" the interview on KGM previously. Can't remem what it was, but similar thing i think. I think he just tries to be too much of a news interviewer with the film stars and it doesn't really gel, they can tell he doesn't give a fk about their films, asks the questions he needs to ask, and the ones he really wants to ask are the ones intended to make them squirm.

Can do that with a politician as it's part of the game and it's generally public interest stuff, you need to know those people are trustworthy and consistent, know what they're talking about... but film stars just want to promote their film and not be asked about their past, all we need them to be is entertaining. I don't know if it's fair game or not. Seems not, to me at least.

KGM also comes across like a patronising tt more and more these days, which doesn't help.

Completely agree. RDJ's personal history has nothing to do with promoting the film. He also seems to have done a complete 180 re. his personal life.

Also little-known that he can sing well too! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1crxmBTxRlM

When I went to see an indoor monster truck event they all had remote kill switches, which were tested each time the truck came into the arena to do a run.
