Does anyone know the exact weight distribution of the G40R?

Have heard some reviewers say the on-limit handling is well balanced and confidence inspiring when sliding, whereas others say its less forgiving than an Elise/Seven in terms of gradual breakaway.

I guess setup will play a part in that hopefully.

Anyone able to chip in?

I would say setup is nearly always the key, my seven used to give way with a snap (albeit at very high speeds) until I had the suspension set up and it give way gradually and I always knew it was going to do it.

I cant really comment on the G40r as my car is still in build and the test drive I had was short but the car did fill me with confidence even though the floor was damp. I also wanted to know where the grip ended so I pushed it, I applied the power early and put too much steering angle in on a few roundabouts to find them limit but ......I didnt find it, the car straighten up and powered through with vast amounts of grip. Ive driven my seven and the elise around the same section of round abouts, the elise would have been sliding. So im hoping that the grip level is what I think it is, although ill have to drive it for a bit on various roads to comment further.

According to those in the know, they're setup at 56% front and 44% rear. They do appear to be reasonably benign again depending upon set-up and type of rubber being used. I hope that this helps.
