Anyone know if there car was once owned by a "celebrity"? Looking through the paperwork I noticed my old p5b was once owned my Edward Fox, now I don't know if it is the actor or not but would be interested to find out for sure without prying into someone's personal life. So, how can this be verified ?

Yes, I have 2 very famous ex celeb cars. A Heritage Cert will give the first owners name of yr car, but you Have to ask for this, otherwise they won't look it up.

Eric Morcambe had a Gold Interceptor 3 which still survives and The Late / brilliant / sadly forgotten Dick Emerys Silver Shaddow still survives .

My Rolls Royce wedding car (not owned, used for the day!) was owned by Mickey Rooney, was imported and was in a right state.....so the driver/owner said!

I say, what a lovely pair you have there.
Dick Emery------- great.
Wouldn't the heritage certificate mention just the owners name though?

Some Celebs used their personal name when registering a car and others ( like Elton John ) used a company name which in his case was W.Bong.
You could contact Edward Foxs agent and ask them if they will forward a letter to him. Some celebs are Very Sniffy and others are approachable.

Try Google imaging Fox, often Celebs were snapped with their cars.

One of the specialists was (maybe still is) trying to sell Rowan Atkinsons integrale, apparently not in great condition (not necessarily down to him as he owned it a long time ago).

That's terrific info. Ask your mother to put Felix's question to Edward then.

I once had a Pontiac Parisienne convertible which was the wedding car for Phil Lynot when he married Lesley Crowther's daughter.

Now that's weird, the car is kept in Bournemouth, a short trip on the ferry.

My Citroen used to be owned by Michael Schumacher, Ayrton Senna and Niki Lauda.

They're not on the current V5 obviously, but I'm happy to sell you the car for £100k...

My 360 was owned by the DJ Neil Fox from new.
I did try to contact via email to the radio station to see if he had any pictures of when he collected the car which would have been nice for the folder but had no response.

My father used to have a BMW E34 525i that was owned by Eric Clapton. Don't think he really benefited from it though.
