I’ll be there on Sunday Paul with a red convertible, same as the one currently advertised on Pistonheads and Auto Trader but with the original polished wheels. I will send you a pm.
Cheers
Richard

Hi guys I did ask this last year but wasn't required in the end, I'm going on the Saturday and normally take my 75 stingray and park with the Vette club but this year they have made it clear that it should be vettes only and my engine is still out due to having other family commitments this year it never got fixed so I will be using my 2009 challenger srt8, would it be ok if I i parked with you guys as it is dodge ? Totally understand if you would prefer it not to be just planning ahead so thought I would ask ?
No offence taken if you think it's not appropriate :-)

Where is the Viper club parking? Have you all been allocated a certain area, or will you be scattered about?

last time it was a sign posted 'car clubs' to a side gate access into silverstone, then directed by the marshalls to the infield parking, on tarmac grouped together in a 'Viper' area, with the other car clubs

its best to get there very early, else you may find yourself queing for several miles

My son and I were to be going down from the North East of Scotland in the 911 to meet up with four friends on Friday for our first visit to the event, unfortunately due to family issues we are missing it, gutted isn't the word frown

Richard, you are officially a top bloke, it was great to meet you and seeing your car put the icing on my weekend. Pity there was only the one Viper to see, but I've taken on board all the info you gave me for when I start my search. My wife is also on board so that's a bonus (even though she still likes C6 'Vettes). We also saw you lining up against the Daytona Cobra on the strip when we were on the tour bus, hope you showed him your tail lights!!!!!!!

Nice meeting up with you Paul.

The Daytona Cobra was a Brock Superperformance Coupe driven by Nadine who’s also a Viper fanatic. She was doing some superb burnouts, real crowd pleasers that sounded and looked great.

It was a bit of larking around, doing demo runs for the crowd.

I’ve attached a couple of pix, good reaction time and launch off the line for both me and Nad, you can see from the picture, neck and neck over the first few feet.

I'm cheeky, but not that cheeky.
I spotted it a while ago... reckon he's asking Gen 4 money. Good luck to the guy.

Yeah looks like he looked at Neils ACR and knocked a few £k off for the extra age, not taking into account they are significantly different beasts. Although a 2007 viper is impossibly rare!
