Daft thread alert.
I'm looking for ideas for a holiday next year, late Feb/early March. I haven't really travelled much (short weekend breaks in Florence, Marrakech and Barcelona being the highlights).
I was planning on heading to Cancun for a week as a mate is over in Mexico teaching English but it seems spring break will be happening at that time of year which means prices for flights and hotels are higher than normal. Tried roping a few mates in but seems they would rather go skiing. Any recommendations for a potentially solo holiday? Budget of around a grand including spending money.
