Does anybody know the area where Pistonheads have their parking? and where the entrance for the Pistonheads parking is?

Also looking for a really nice restaurant for dinner on the way back to Reading. Any ideas anybody?
Would also like to know some further information about the parking if anyone else knows?

Last year PH parking was at the top of the display field. It shared entry and exit with Joe Public and then marshaled off. I don't think there's any way around this. I think PH parking may be ooen earlier than public.

I showed my car last year as it got me a discount!

Really looking forward to this year's show, especially the rally cars.

Also a big thanks for letting Wessex Car Club have a stand again this year

For those traveling from the South East, be aware there is a cycle event with major road closures on the 10th Aug.

Do we get e-mailed a "pass" of some sort to access the PH parking area?

I Put my name on the list last Friday and was showing as Number 5. Today I check and find the list is now over 600 entries. And I had disappeared from the list completely. I have now re-added myself at number 600+. How many spaces are there? and will I get in?

I'd bring a picnic but make sure it's not full of fresh things that might melt or go off in your boot. There are quite a few food outlets but they get very busy around lunchtime and you could waste a significant amount of time in the queue. That said, this year there will be a Pistonheads dedicated outlet so it might be better.

There are toilets (porta-loos), I've never had to wait more than about 3mins for the use of one but bring some hand gel if you're at all hygienic!

The shelter consists of some large trees, the gazeebos that people are exhibiting under and then the roof on your own four wheels! If you've got a premium ticket then there's the house too.
