my new diff doesnt have the abs ring on the output shaft, so speed sensor cant work. does anyone have a wiring diagram for the speed sensor, or know what type it is?

is the dash speed adjustable if i use a different sensor in the gearbox for example? I have a 2 wire speed sensor in the gearbox so could use that is its suitable....

do the later t cars all have a diff mounted sensor, or are some gearbox mounted?

I have a spare and I think the manufacture label is intact with the part number on it so you could look it up. Its a Ford part from memory. If you can work with that info I will post it up later when I get home

Is it clear enough or do you need me to clean up the wiring diagram pic?

Steve,

Did you get anywhere with this? or did you revert to using the original pick-up?

the lads at work machined a boss to thread the old speedo sensor into, which mounts in the 6060. with a 3.07 it reads about 4% too high , but it can be recalibrated in the dash ecu (its close enough not to bother--reads 90 at 85)

i spoke to paul smith, who said the that sensors tvr used varied in calibration for different sensors, so it would be better to stick with the sensor i had than try to swap.

i did have a speedo convertor that should have worked, but i could never get it to work with the TVR dash.
