9 suits, two raider frames, two X-01's, two T-45, the rest is T-60. I think there isn't any limit to the number of suits to have. Some traders occasionally sell frames, and you can steal any number from respawning NPC's.
I found power armour generally disappointing, since it seemingly have sneak modifier and much less AP's to play with. It's of course more usable than in NV.

How many suits/frames do you have there?

Has anybody on here found them all?
There's a map of them someone made, not linking here as it's just a google away and spoils it a bit.

Has anyone found a settlement just getting attacked ALL the f'ing time? My main base at Red Rocket (Fort Grumpy) has a ridiculous level of defence yet just keeps getting attacked, the defence is far far fffaaarr in excess of any water or food supplys.
On the flip side my Sanctuary settlement has a water supply in the 60+ region yet never gets attacked.

Worst bit is the attackees are often super mutants with one of the suicidal ones >frown

As for the rest of the game, I'm about level 26+ and I'm not sure I'm going to finish the main story.... at least not quickly or even continue with the game much. Everything seems a bit repetitive now and I've seen the majority of the 'cool' things to see.

Here's my collection of power armour frames

Two of them were stolen. Couldn't manage to collect full T-51 set though.

As for the game - I finished it and I'm finished with it until all DLC's are out and they remove all the bugs. Couldn't stand new dialogs and all that Sims stuff. And many more things. F2 and NV were way better.
Congrats on completing a small amount of the game in a relatively quick time.

See you when the DLC is released!

I really don't understand how it is possible to finish this game so quickly.

I go for a stroll on a mission, and see a large building and go oooooh, I'll just take a peek in there... Then pick up enough kit to have to head back to Sanctuary and drop it off, and continue on. But then whilst I am on a mission, someone has a chat and says "Hey, have you seen this place" and marks it on your map. Soooo then you go there instead....

Just doing some Googling on settlement building and it looks like raiders are sometimes able to spawn right inside the settlement so building high walls might not actually be that useful!
I've got four settlements up now and I've only seen one attack, and that had raiders spawn right in the middle of the camp. I was still in the build menu when I heard lots of shouting and explosions. Turned out that four raiders with missile launchers spawned and blew the st out of everything within seconds. I had just ran to my power armour by the time I died in a screen full of explosions. Seems walls might not be much use after all!

My mate was telling me of an incident in one of his camps the other day. He was wandering around when one of the Settlers started shouting before opening fire on nearby people. Once killed he was found to have Synth components on him - so the Synths can apparently infiltrate your bases!

Very much this albeit at a relative snail's pace but I don't care as it's the sort of game you can just pick up and play at any speed. Just hit level 14 and upgraded my irradiated bolt gun to 71 damage, happy days smile Now on my first BoS mission to ArcJet ...

I had a Synth as a settler who then for reasons which are unclear to me, decided to attack. Confusion reigned as I fast travelled to a settlement "under attack" and couldn't find any "enemy" to kill. It was only when I saw a settler attacking the gun turrets......

I had that, synth components in a settler and a Brahimin!

Another unusual thing I came across was a Mole rat suicider, complete with the beeping, and I was looking around for a supermutant.

Wow, that's either a very clever Terminator-esque twist in the game with the synths infiltrating your camp or it's another bug. I'd love it to be the former but on previous form it's probably the latter. smile

Well, it makes sense given the paranoia in the Commonwealth about the Institute replacing people. First thing to hear when you enter Diamond City.

I've had populations reduce on two occasions, only to go back and find a dead "settler" with synth components on them. Synths can and will pretend to be settlers to get into your bases.

I find the Pipboy workshop stats lie regularly. Giving false warnings about having zero water, or food, or low defence and settlers. Fast travel back and it's all normal.

If you did a speed run I think you could probably finish it pretty fast if you were really dedicated - but you'd miss a lot of cool stuff. I'm over 100 hours now and I still have loads to do.

I've not been to Diamond City yet (still lots to do before I even get near there) so thanks for the spoiler. smile

Synths infiltrating the population, great twist!

So yesterday I applied the finishing touches to my full X-01 suit of power armor.

All pieces upgraded to the highest level.

Both legs have the smash upgrade installed (the thing when you hit the ground hard your stomp sets off an explosion).

Helmet fitted with a HUD that lights up all living beings & bright tact light.

No extra mods on the arms considering I don't have any unlocked (lack of melee weapon creation skills).

Flame paintjob to help with AP.

& lastly, my favourite which I never tried before, the jetpack.

It's a damn flying tank now!!! I decided to head into the city near the fort you take for the minutemen & just went around clearing everything up. I went up two levels (up to 43) in about an hour & used nearly all the ammo I had on me for my small arm weapons & the suit took hardly damage.

Also the combo of the jetpack & splosion legs, I can successfully say the tables have turned & I managed to make a Deathclaw st itself when I jumped off a building & slammed down right in front of it hehe

I find this too. I have the 'warning' symbol next to the Defense rating of all but 1 of my settlements, despite the Defense total being higher than the food + water total - double that in one instance.

I hope a mod comes out to replace snyths with T800's. Would download that.

Also, has anyone seen a synth replacement and a human battling it out? I've seen two so far.

I had one happen that was a classic movie cliche. These identical guys were on a roof and one had a gun pointed at the other & they kept insisting the other was a Synth. I love stuff like that but sadly in this Fallout random occurrences like this seem very rare.

Excellent I'm still using the T60 with flame paint at level 25 looking forward to finding the XO set and doing exactly what you've done
