2008 Volvo C70 T5 Turbo

Hi - just looking for some advice or observations.

My turbo just went on my car after 54k miles. This seems very low mileage to me. The car has been very well serviced and maintained and there was no indication of a problem until I lost power.

Do you think I have any recourse to either Volvo or the turbo manufacturers? Any suggestions on where I can get a good deal on a replacement

I bought the car privately only in June 2013 so this is a big expense.

You could try Volvo, and you never know they MIGHT offer something if the S/History is faultless, but I am sure they are under no obligation to.

54K is one thing, but who is to say the 54k is careful/mechanically sympathetic miles. or abusive.
