Will there be more used cars for sale in the new year?

As said really, looking for either an E46 M3 or 350Z but there isn't that much choice about.

Do people tend to wait until after xmas before selling? I've sold my knackered GTV this week for £430 and wanted to move on a replacemnt asap but there isn't much choice out there, much less in my area.

Any thoughts?

Yes, although you may be able to pick up a bargain now as there is less demand (I'm struggling to shift a fiesta currently)

I've been watching E46 prices ahead of a possible purchase next year, how about this?

Although they just resell BCA stock you can give it the once over and walk if any issues, looks to be quite smart!

I've noticed the same lack of cars.

Been looking for the right car since October.

The money is sat in the bank and my current car is still fine so I'm in no hurry. But since late November there's been nothing!

I've been checking PH, AT and the BMW AUC site daily and it's just the same few cars. People aren't even lowering the prices.

I have noticed that the amount of private sales is really low in general, has been the same for months now. Across both PH and Autotrader if you select private ads only there really aren't that many.. interesting really as new car sales are doing OK.
