Hi Henry

What is the propper kit you mention? Also how do dogs differ from other heavy objects I put in the car (car is a nissan xtrail, our family workhorse, tip car etc)

Not that it matters I sopose, but I rarely drive there (I normally cycle and they run alongside me!)

A dog guard or crate in the boot.

Its a guard to make sure that they cannot come over the rear seat, some are good and some less so. We have a car for the dogs that has a complete guard behind the rear seat so that if there is an accident they will hit that which will not be as bad as if they come over the seat. I'm fairly sure that you are against the law without one, but would be sure on that.

Smiler.

yes

Couldn't be without them now (and the dogs, obviously)

We got cheap ones from doggie solutions (honestly not a porn site)

Lottie is very well - thanks for asking.smile

We managed to get her in a new sweater this afternoon, as she feels the cold on her walks - problem is finding coats/sweaters that are small enough to fit her:

Hope you all have a GREAT weekend with your Dogs.

biggrin

Im not sure how true but people have told me that pet insurance wont pay out for car accident injuries unless the dog was in a crate.

might be worth while checking teh small print ( something i keep meaning to do but forget)

Would be a problem for me. Had to stop using a cage as it and he are too big.

Mum is a long haired Jack Russell, dad is a Yorkshire Terrier; Google Yorkie Russell.

'Barry' is joint first for the best name I've heard for a dog. Equal with 'Hugo'

Breezer was spayed on Wednesday.

She's fine but bored because she's not allowed the mental rough playing she loves so much.

I'm sure they don't need to shave that much. frown

Reminds me of Moe from "The Three Stooges". frown

They all are. Somebody above said something about retiring in a bit if land and have loads of dogs. That would be a thing.

As for the shaving area, probably infection prevention.
