Not just once, but on TWO occasions today, dipstick of a dog decided to jump out of the 1st floor window into our yard. I'm talking about the quarterlight, the window itself was shut.
I have no idea how she did it, but a grazed chin appears to be the extend of the damage....
Wow, stunt dog!!!I have no idea how she did it, but a grazed chin appears to be the extend of the damage....

I moved house recently, my garden isn't dog proofed yet. I just went out into the garden and found this big black thing :
I recognised him though... he was living here when I came to view the place so he must have just made his own way "home"
He's been fed and watered, the guy is coming to get him later when he finishes work (i told him no rush I can contain him here for now)

And idiot of the day goes to....The woman lead walking her Alaskan Malamute on the pavement, no shade next to a busy road at 1pm today when temperatures were 26/27 degrees, pity I was driving and couldn't safely pull over.
Saw several dogs on my journey home (1 whippet, 3 jrt's and 1 french bulldog!) Bizarrely the only one not panting like a good'un was the French Bulldog!
Depends on where they live etc I'd saySaw several dogs on my journey home (1 whippet, 3 jrt's and 1 french bulldog!) Bizarrely the only one not panting like a good'un was the French Bulldog!
I used to walk my JR at lunchtime no matter what the weather, because at the time I lived in a flat & went home for lunch. We had no garden so he got three or four walks a day no matter what.

I think some folk can take this too far.I used to walk my JR at lunchtime no matter what the weather, because at the time I lived in a flat & went home for lunch. We had no garden so he got three or four walks a day no matter what.
If my dog is hydrated, and I'm not thrashing him for 6 miles, I can't see a problem with walking him whatever the weather.
(This side of mid 30's Celsius).
