5 mile walk + a couple of stops at pubs en route = perfect Saturday afternoon.

Last year at my dad's for Christmas, Daisy fell asleep in front of the fire, my step brother came to get me as he had tried to move her because she was getting really hot but every time he approached her she growled at him; she was roasting, God knows how she managed to stay there. I moved her.

She didnt last long. She is a heat slut though she will drive us mad in the morning until the sun shines on the lounge floor and its convenient for her to have a nap!

our Millie used to lie in the sun on the floor - would wake up and move every half hour for maximum sunnage!

We have a man hole cover in the garden; in the summer Daisy will lie out in the sun on it.

Our back step is another popular haunt - it gets full sun from 10 am....

I've never know a dog that rolls as much as this one.

Is this normal? full speed run into dad, chew log, roll on log, find something else to roll on the assault Dady again. I don't think this dog is right in the head. I got the camera out because he was zooming around everywhere which of course he stopped doing as soon as I started videoing him.

We've had to drag Lucky away from fires before as we could smell her fur singeing & she still wouldn't move. They are mental aren't they?

My mum has something similar with her new SBT Loki, he is utterly fascinated by the log burning stove. He sits as close as possible and stares at the flames.

Teasel and Angus had a good chomp on raw venison bones this weekend - it was Angus' first bone so he was a little unsure at first but soon cottoned on!
