Clever idea buy a set cheap and sell all the bits individually. (I would have been tempted by the rachet spanners if they had been cheaper)

Hasn't sold. Now relisted.

I need a new box too, but it's a different set.

Only a complete knob head would consider buying that.

So i'm a knob head ?
my tool box is broken, halfords charge 3 times that for a new empty box, what's the problem you ahole.
Just contacted him to see if i can collect cos that's what knob heads do, spend a fiver on fuel instead of a tenna on postage rolleyes

Cheers didn't notice it had been relisted wink just contacted him.
mines the early early box with the plastic locks and really hard to find so i've been using the later box for the last replacement, it just has a few empty holes from changes in the selection it came with frown a PITA but it's either that or have them loose in a metal tool box in the boot wink

alot of people sell their cases, there are alot of the blue point set cases on there too, people who keep their sets in a case may want a replacement, it's better than chucking it in the bin so fair play to him?!

Although £10 + £9.99 P&P is a bit steep!

It was a little joke as I knew someone would jump all over it!
With prices as they are in the halfords sale you could buy the whole set and probably sell just the tools at a profit and get a nice shiny new box.

I sold 4 of these last year and made £35 each.

I did laugh too.

I've got the similar 150 piece Halfords set. When the original case disintegrated... I bought a portable 2 drawer steel tool box.

Why replace a moulded plastic case like for like if it wasn't up to the job in the 1st place confused

Guys, Halfords replace these boxes FOC as part of the lifetime guarantee on Professional tools - I've had 2 new ones now in 15 years for my 150pce socket set - the only other part of this well used set that's broken is a 6mm allen socket which was also swapped without question - superb!

Brilliant! I assumed the box would be excluded front the guarantee. Cheers for that.
